Upper Two Medicine Lake

Upper Two Medicine – 4.2mi / 6.8km

Upper Two Medicine Lake

With a boat ride, twin waterfalls, and a beautiful lake, Upper Two Medicine has a lot to offer. Take the boat across Two Medicine Lake (for a fee) to the head of the lake.

At almost a mile, a short spur trail takes you to Twin Falls. After that stop, a little over a mile will get you past a nice pond and to Upper Two Medicine Lake that makes a great stop for lunch.

(If you wish to walk the whole way without the boat ride, add an additional relatively flat 5 miles round trip to your day.)

Trailhead: The boat concessionaire is located at the south shore of the lake near the camp store. If not taking the boat, the Old Man Lake trailhead is found by driving towards the campground area of Two Medicine and parking at the end with the big meadow. Trailhead is across the foot bridge.

Elevation Gain/Loss: 300ft / 90m
