Kidney Stoned in the ER

Kidney Stoned in the ER

Went to bed on Monday night feeling fine, then woke up around 12:30 a.m. with an “awesome” pain in my side. I tried to tough it out until the next morning as I don’t like to use the ER unless it truly is an emergency. After a couple of hours of pain and nausea “stuff”, we went to the ER to find out that I had a kidney stone. Amazing how something so small can bring a man to his knees.

Anyway, got me some happy meds until we’ve “moved on”. Looking forward to creating more blogs about Glacier and not blogs like this!

UPDATE: After over four days of “no stone” I opted for surgery. I’m home now and doing well. Thanks for all of your prayers and well wishes!

Glad this struck when you were in town instead of far up a mountain trail away from that ER. Feel better soon!
